Abstract

This article provides a history of strategic HRM especially this science formation. The definition of strategic personnel management is given. The article examines the science in the past, the process of this field development, including conceptual model, empirical research and empirical review periods. The phases of the origin of the personnel management system are given. The authors consider the typology of HR system creation by comparing corporate growth expectations with organizational readiness. The impact of both administrative information and strategic context on the input data, behavior, and results is mentioned.
