Abstract

This article is devoted to the consideration of the origins of the philosophical and ethical category of the heroic, as well as the heroism philosophy proportional reflection in the song poetry of Vladimir Vysotsky about the war and translated analogues of some works in English. The results of the lexical-semantic and comparative analysis of some poet's works have shown that in military poetry the poet actively used the motives of heroic death, posthumous glory, as well as the motive of national unity for the Fatherland defense, while the dominant means of imagery for revealing the heroism philosophy in these works were the author's metaphors and repetitions.
