Abstract

The article provides the review of international publications on the phenomenon of procrastination among teachers. Cause-and-effect relationships, managerial, personal, situational, competency-based, motivational and emotional aspects of this phenomenon are considered.Research findings suggest that despite the fact that teachers show moderate levels of procrastination in their profession, they might be at risk of negative outcomes if they are engaged in procrastinating behavior.
