The article analyzes the problem of professional burnout of oncologists and its consequences for the doctors themselves, their colleagues and patients. Maintaining health in the professional activities of oncologists initiates the development of a system of psychological support for their professional activities, including psychological trainings, group and individual counseling in the context of problems of medical practice. The results of testing the program of psychological prevention of occupational burnout in oncologists are presented. The psychodiagnostic toolkit of the study compiled a methodology for diagnosing the level of emotional burnout V.V. Boyko in the modification of E.P. Ilyin. Significant indicators of the reduction of leading symptoms of occupational burnout in doctors were recorded based on the results of testing carried out before and after the training.
