Abstract

The article analyzes such a phenomenon as manipulation. It is pointed out that this term is used to describe the influence, in which the adoption of another's opinion or the purchase of goods or services by the target person can lead to an unfavorable result for him. It is noted that manipulation of people has specific purposes and serves to influence the behavior of others. It is concluded that in this context the term "manipulation" has negative connotations and is characterized by concealment of intent.
