Abstract

The article analyzes the image of India in the context of world philosophy, as well as in the context of its reflection through humorous imagery in Vladimir Vysotsky's songwriting. The proportionality of transmission of author's imagery in some analogs of poems in English is studied. It is noted that the results of lexico-semantic and stylistic analysis of imagery in V. Vysotsky's poems about India showed the actualization of parody problems and the dominance of author's metaphorical occasionalisms on the basis of refraction of colloquial phraseologisms of the Soviet era of the last century.
