Abstract

In this article, based on lexical and semantic analysis, the problems of innovation in the early poetry by Vladimir Mayakovsky are considered as well as the proportionality of innovative poetic techniques in some translations into English is analyzed. The comparative analysis results in relation to poetic innovation, caused by the poet's passion for the futurism philosophy, demonstrated the significance of neologisms prevailing in the author's metaphors and comparisons in works of revolutionary and agitational orientation.
