Abstract

The article examines "peat rent" as an economic category that allows justifying the efficiency of investments in the development of peat deposits. It presents factors influencing the value of "peat rent", as well as a methodological approach that allows dividing "peat rent" into the share of the owner of the peat deposit (the state) and the share of the owner of the investment (the entrepreneur developing the peat deposit).
