Abstract

The article examines the transformation of the concept of privacy in a digital society, highlights key threats and suggests conceptual foundations for a new understanding of privacy in the era of digitalization of social interactions. The main risks and challenges associated with privacy in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and the widespread use of digital services are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the issues of personal data protection and confidentiality in the digital space, as well as approaches to the security of personal information. It is concluded that privacy today is not only a personal right, but also a complex social phenomenon requiring interdisciplinary analysis and systemic regulation. In the digital age, privacy is acquiring new features, which requires its rethinking as a transforming social institution.
