Abstract

Based on literary data and regulatory legal acts, a retrospective analysis of the implementation of quality control mechanisms and the development of the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM), as well as the application of the main ideas of this concept in international and national quality assurance standards, has been conducted. The main approaches to managing the quality of the public procurement process, their customer-centricity, and their impact on this area of activity have been examined. A process-based approach to organizing the procurement activities of public customers has been proposed as a priority.
