Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive study of the phenomenon of fake news through the lens of psycholinguistics, examines the impact of falsified information on the consciousness, and discusses methods for combating it. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that deliberately false information can influence people's consciousness and perception of reality. The article concludes that developing media literacy for both individuals and society as a whole is essential for combating fake news.
