Based on lexical-semantic and statistical analysis, this article examines the imagery of Vladimir Vysotsky's confessional poetry in terms of its psychological impact on the reader and identifies key tropes that contribute to the creation of a confessional tone. At the same time, the results of statistical analysis of the imagery used in the poet's confessional works demonstrated the prevalence of metaphors, rhetorical repetitions and hyperbole as techniques to enhance the effect of trustworthiness and emotional tension in this layer of poetry.
