Abstract

This article, using lexical-semantic and statistical analysis, examines the philosophical subtext of Vladimir Vysotsky's song marches, specifically analyzing their reflections of Stoic philosophy. Key tropes that contribute to the disclosure of Stoic ethical principles in some of Vysotsky's marches are identified. The results of a statistical analysis of figurative language demonstrate the prevalence of metaphor and antithesis as tools for revealing the dynamics of Stoicism in this layer of the poet's poetry.
