Abstract

This article, using lexical-semantic and comparative analysis, examines the issues of Orthodox philosophy and symbolism in selected works by Vladimir Vysotsky. The study establishes that metaphors and epithets, as well as the stylistic device of antithesis, are key means of emphasizing the religious subtext in the author's poetics. These not only create distinctive imagery but also facilitate the poet's existential dialogue with the Orthodox tradition by integrating concrete experience into the context of biblical archetypes.

Keywords

orthodoxy, antithesis, epithet, existential dialogue, metaphor, cultural code.
