Abstract

The article presents a review of analytical materials from international sources that examine the barriers that arise during communication in virtual corporate environments. The article examines the risks associated with interpersonal interactions that can undermine the effectiveness of multinational virtual teams, leading to social and cultural alienation. These include variability in language skills, linguistic stigma, social categorization, and anxiety.
