The article is devoted to the study of the problem of socio-psychological adaptation at the stage of training in a higher educational institution. Various types of adaptation are considered within the framework of foreign and domestic psychological literature. Key predictors from the psyche are studied, indicating a positive or negative course of this process. Special attention is paid to subjective well-being, communicative tendencies, neuropsychiatric stability, moral regularity of behavior. Significant features of the student period are indicated as an important stage in the life of a young man. The importance of controlling the dynamics of various manifestations of personality activity, which may indicate the general subjective well-being of students, is noted. The study program is presented, as well as the results of psychodiagnostic monitoring of predictors of adaptation potential, their severity.
