Abstract

The article reveals the prospects for the use of modern packaging materials for milk and dairy products that combine functional, consumer and environmental properties as much as possible. Promising innovative directions of application of biodegradable packaging are considered; problems of the milk producer within the framework of the implementation of the mechanism of its expanded responsibility. It is proved that in modern conditions, in order to eliminate environmental problems and reduce the burden on food producers, it is necessary to create a modern infrastructure for the collection and processing of recyclables.
