Abstract

The article examines the psychological features of professional commercial activities and known classifications of its types. Related types of economic activity (entrepreneurship, business), as well as their fundamental differences, are indicated. Describes the leading types of labor activity of sales employees. The specific determinants of the success of the commercial activity are given, namely, leading professionally important qualities. The role of the influence of the intensive development of IT technologies on the dynamics of the buyer's behavioral activity and the formation of a specific set of professionally important qualities of the seller is noted.
