Abstract

The article presents an overview of foreign research in the field of strategic human resource management. Some past stages of the evolution of this field, including the epochs of conceptual models, empirical research and empirical criticism, are considered against the background of economic and social development of foreign countries. The views of foreign authors on the relationship between the system of strategic human resource management and such organizational concepts as productivity, compliance and flexibility are analyzed.
