Abstract

The article presents a study of the relationship between the prices of peat and mineral fertilisers in the world market. The graphs reflecting the dynamics of fluctuations in the weighted average price of the main types of mineral and peat fertilisers on the world market are analysed. Correlation and elasticity of weighted average prices on the world fertiliser market are assessed. As a conclusion, a hypothesis about the relationship between the prices of mineral fertilisers and peat-based fertilisers is put forward.
