The state of the state geodetic network of the Tver region and the problems associated with its preservation and development are considered. The results of the analysis of the current state of the network are presented, the results of the work on its inspection and restoration are summarized. The factors causing the degradation of the network, such as insufficient funding, natural disasters and insufficient human resources, have been identified. The measures for the preservation and development of the geodetic network are described, including the restoration of lost points, modernization of equipment and professional development of specialists.
