Abstract

An empirical study is determined by the need for socio-psychological and psychological-pedagogical monitoring of the adaptive potential of junior medical students. The lack of preventive and corrective measures of the consequences of maladaptation to educational activities can lead to the development of addictions in students, as well as deviant and delinquent behavior. The article presents the results of a study of the general mental state, the tendency to addictive and delinquent behavior, as well as maladaptive disorders in university students in the learning process. Such forms of manifestation as communicative and activity disorders, somatic manifestations, integral maladaptation, increased anxiety and aggressiveness, a tendency to deviant behavior are explicated. A low level of adaptive potential and neuropsychic stability was revealed. The assessment of the general mental state and maladaptive disorders proposed by us is considered relevant and necessary for further research and development of preventive and correctional measures in higher educational institutions.
