The article is devoted to the consideration of the actualization of the championship of professional skills “Abilimpiks”, which is a launching pad for the implementation of the formed professional abilities of students with disabilities and disabilities at the initial stage of professional development. The mission and ideology of the championship are based on creating conditions for the absence of psychological barriers in the process of interaction during competitive tests, as well as on developing a tolerant attitude towards people with disabilities and disabilities in modern society. Based on the analysis of the development of the Abilympics movement, the issue of the championship's assistance in the development of competitiveness, the process of personal and professional growth of its participants is raised, which is an important and necessary condition within the sociocultural inclusion of people with disabilities.
