The article is devoted to psychological aspects of professional health of medical workers. The activity of oncologists, who are in the group of high risk of professional burnout development, is considered. The negative influence of professional burnout on such work criteria as the quality of medical services, increased risk of medical errors, increased frequency of confrontations with colleagues and patients is indicated. The results of psychodiagnostic examination and psychological recommendations are given.
