The scientific review examines current literature data on the analysis of new basic risks and challenges to Russia's economic security as a sovereign state. It emphasizes that, as the globalization model and the leadership of the "golden billion" are running out, there is an active process of geoeconomic fragmentation of the global economy and a shift in the system of economic and socio-political priorities for states. Additionally, the article reflects the results of research on the current issues of ensuring the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation in the current context of sanctions and external pressure.
