As the article demonstrates, modern humanity lives in a hybrid, natural and digital world at the same time. Such a world is undergoing a profound and intense transformation. The message and result of this transformation is personality. A rationale is given for the phenomenon of "escapism" in the digital world. The digital world is focused on the Faustian figure, on digitalization. In such a world, the interpenetration of man and digital technology has reached its limit, so the boundaries of the natural and artificial personal and impersonal are shifting. The article answers the question of why in the digital world and digital society there is a trajectory of "escape from personality". We are talking about the transformation of human consciousness, about clip thinking, about network identity, about a new way of constituting the personality as easily suggested, mosaic, plastic. Personality is lost the status of subjectivity, which means the ability of goal setting, meaning formation, reflection. The author believes that the idea of the integrity of the modern personality, which was stated by Russian philosophers, serves as a way to overcome the loss of personal status.
