Abstract

The concepts of «social activity», «educational system», «informal education» are considered. The possibilities of the educational system and extracurricular work of a technical university for the formation of an active civic position of student youth are analyzed. The main mechanisms of formation of social activity of student youth by means of extracurricular work and educational system of Tver State Technical University are described.
