The current methods and methods of protection of land cadastre information are considered. Two groups of land cadastre information are given: open and closed (limited) use, which determines the use of different types and means of information protection. It is noted that the degree of information security is determined not only by how the Rosreestr department performs the function of protecting the above-mentioned information, but also by how responsibly the subjects of land and property relations themselves relate to ensuring this protection.
