Abstract

The question of the relevance of studying creative imagination in the context of personal development of a preschooler is considered. A brief theoretical analysis of the phenomenon of this imagination is carried out. It is noted that art therapy as a psychocorrective tool is aimed at revealing creative potential, which is inextricably linked with creative imagination. At the same time, it is emphasized that the techniques and means of art therapy contribute to the development of such imagination in preschool children, since they are similar to the leading type of activity of these children, namely play.
