Abstract: The article deals with F.R. Ankersmit’s linguistic narrativistic philosophy. It is
pointed out that the historical narrative is a representation of the past that creates
meaning, in other words, a return to the world an object that is absent in the
present. Addressing the problem of the relationship between narrative and
metaphor, F.R. Ankersmit notes that metaphorical statements accumulate the
properties of narrative substances.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF SYMBOLISM
IN THE EARLY POETRY
OF BORIS PASTERNAK (AS EXEMPLIFIED
IN SOME FRENCH TRANSLATIONS)

Abstract: This article examines the correlation between the philosophy of symbolism and the
teachings of V.S. Solovyov to comprehend the essence of this literary movement, the
embodiment of symbolic elements in the early poetry of Boris Pasternak, as well as
Pasternak's poetic visionadequacy in French translated analogues. On the grounds
of comparative and lexical-semantic analysis, it is concluded that, being a
philosophical doctrine, symbolism borrows Solovyov's idea as to the inevitability of
philosophy going beyond the framework of theory, into the sphere of life-creation,
including arts, which is considered as a way for a person to reveal himself, to
comprehend his creative vocation as being in culture and society. As a result, this
study is relevant for disclosing the mechanisms of generation, transformation and
distribution of symbolic codes in various areas of social life.

Abstract: The article examines the issue of the unity of the state as the basis for the
formation of state ethics, presented in the study of the German political theorist
Carl Schmitt. Unity can serve as the basis not only for the ethical aspect of
interaction between the state and society, but also as an effective tool aimed at
ensuring the sovereignty and legality of power.

Abstract: The phenomenon of flanerie is considered in the diachronic aspect. The
differences in flanerie in European and Russian cultures are shown; some
historical modifications of flaneur’s strategies in cultural and sociological
discourses are given. This phenomenon makes it possible to discuss some nontrivial issues related toof modern mass culture.

THE «ABDUCTION» IN A NEW TIME

Abstract: «Abduction» was an ancient tradition. In the early period, «abduction» was an
outward expression of the close relationship that united the man and woman. In the
past, «abduction» underwent a series of transformations. «Abduction» existed until
the New Time. In New Time, the «abduction» not only did not disappear, but gained
immense popularity among a large part of the population of some regions of
Eurasia. This article is intended to explain the spread of «abduction» among the
general population in modern times. The presented work is the last study in a series
of articles devoted to the tradition of «abduction».

PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ASPECTS
OF DISTANCE LEARNING
IN AN ELECTRONIC ENVIRONMENT

Abstract: The psychological and pedagogical aspects of distance learning are considered.
The definition of the concept of «distance learning» is given. It is noted that the
occurrence of a number of psychological and technical difficulties leads to
consequences that the teaching staff and students have not previously encountered.
The simple actions that help to maintain a normal psycho-emotional background
for both the teacher and the student are listed, and at the same time the quality of
the educational process is improved. The relationship between the problem of the
time limit intended for performing independent tasks and the problem of personal
communication, the degree of trust in the teacher – student dyad is traced. It is
concluded that learning in an electronic environment should become a support,
support for the traditional form of learning, help to diversify it with new modern
methods of presenting material and knowledge.

Abstract: The article notes that the increased needs of modern society in the field of
assistance to various segments of the population have led to an increase in the
activity of citizens and the development of socially oriented non-profit
organizations. It is concluded that the timely adoption of the regulatory
framework that legitimately approved their activities allowed these organizations
to provide various social services to the population. The results of a survey of
residents of the Tver region are presented: it was revealed that most people are
not ready to participate in the activities of such organizations. Among the active
population, socially oriented non-profit organizations can count on the provision
of moral support for their activities, time costs from the population, assistance in
the form of consulting services, material investments of residents. Persons who
have experience of contacting these organizations testify that they were helped
there in solving problems.

THE PROBLEM OF ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF PEAT
AND PRODUCTS BASED ON IT:
EUROPEAN AND RUSSIAN EXPERIENCE

Abstract: Many author's studies have shown that the economic security of enterprises
supplying peat for export is significantly higher than that of those producers who
focus only on the Russian market. The purpose of the article is to assess the
peculiarities of the interpretation of the quality of peat products in Russia and
Europe, as well as differences in the methods and methods of assessing the
quality of peat and peat products. It is noted that an urgent problem in the
sustainable development of the peat sector of the mining industry is the issues of
assessing the quality of peat as a raw material for the production of peat
products and the quality of finished products based on peat. It is indicated that
the strategy of expanding the peat products market and promoting the Russian
peat brand abroad is one of the main mechanisms for the development of the peat
industry in the Russian Federation. It is emphasized that for the use of such a
strategy, a necessary (and in some cases difficult to overcome) condition is to
assess the quality of peat products from the positions of European and Russian
consumers. The results of the study are presented, the methodological tools of
which include the provisions of GOST standards, technical specifications and
national quality standards in Russia and abroad, methods of processing
statistical data and data of peat enterprises.
