ERICH FROMM'S DREAM OF A HEALTHY SOCIETY
AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
Authors: V.V. Bulanov
Abstract: The article proves that achieving Erich Fromm's dream of creating a healthy society is incompatible with the massive use of information technology. According to Fromm, the values on which a healthy society should be based are related to biophilia. According to Fromm, the modern worship of technology and information technology indicates the influence of one of the forms of necrophilia, the antipode of biophilia. This worship is manifested in the fact that now the elements of necrophilia are expressed even more clearly in the emerging digital person than in the cybernetic personality of a fan of technology.
Keywords: healthy society, biophilia, necrophilia, cybernetic personality, digital person.
POLITICAL AND SYMBOLIC FACTOR IN THE OCTOBER CLASHES OF 1905
Authors: S.V. Lavrikov
Abstract: The article, based on a wide range of published sources, the works of modern researchers, examines the color, verbal, musical political symbols of the opposing forces of the left and right during the October clashes and pogroms of 1905. The important role of political symbolism is noted, which allowed anti-government and pro-government forces to declare their goals, ensure solidarity and mobilization of mass support. It is concluded that political symbolism, although it acted as a conflict factor, at the same time was not the main reason for the October confrontation, which was due to a deeper complex of contradictions that existed in Russia at the beginning of the twentieth century.
Keywords: political symbolism, vexillology, clashes and pogroms of 1905, revolutionary democratic movement, Black Hundreds.
